If it is buildable, you get the constraint analysis and an indicative schedule. If it is not, you get the reason.

The rest is easier to answer once we know the site. If yours is not here, write it in the form — an unusual question usually means an unusual project, which is the kind we want.

Do we need a grid connection already?
No. About half of what we look at has no queue position, and finding out whether one is gettable is usually the first piece of work.
How early is too early to call?
Before you have spent money is the cheapest point. We would rather say no to a site in a fortnight than in year three.
Do you only work at utility scale?
Below roughly 20 MW the development cost per megawatt stops making sense for the way we are structured. We will say so quickly.
What happens if consent fails?
Under a co-development agreement we carry that cost, which is the point of the structure. Nothing is clawed back from the landowner.
Do you buy projects outright?
Yes, at any stage from consented to operating. We will give you a view on price inside two weeks, and we will tell you if you would do better selling elsewhere.
How long until somebody replies?
Two working days, and a named person rather than an acknowledgement. If the answer is no, that comes in two days too.
